Computer programming seems very complicated to kids but somehow I agree that it should be made compulsory in elementary schools. Here are my views.
First, early exposure to programming helps the children understand the importance of computer. It makes them realize that computers are valuable tools in life, not merely for fun.
Second, programming has lasting benefits to children. It helps them develop important skills such as persistence, logical thinking, problem solving, and creativity.
In conclusion, programming has a lot of benefits to elementary students. Therefore making it as a mandatory subject is necessary.
