I agree on the idea that parents should be responsible for their own kids of moral values. However, I also believe that schools has a role to play, too. Here are my points.
First, it is the teacher’s duty to teach students in holistic manner. What I mean is, while teaching the core subjects, morality and values should be incorporated in them. This prepares children to become a valuable member of the society.
Second, the academic and economic background of parents should also be taken into consideration. A lot of parents are too busy to discipline their kids. In addition, some are not well-educated and clueless of proper conduct.
In Conclusion, even though parents and teachers have different code of ethics, both have the responsibility in shaping children’s morality and values.
