I disagree with this statement. The comfort of using cars is nothing compared to the negative impact it could bring to the environment. Here are some of the environmental impact cars have.
Firstly, more cars mean more fossil fuels are consumed, making the next generations face shortage of these resources.
Secondly, I would say, people can use more public transportation. In this way, we also can save our own money.
In conclusion, the convenience of using car is just a matter of short period of time which is nothing compared to the bad effect it can cause to the environment for a long period of time.
