I agree with the idea that Japanese education system should be changed and should not only focus on passing the university entrance exams. Here are some of the disadvantages.
First,they are exposed to endless drills and memorizations. This leads students to seek answers efficiently rather than deeply consider issues by themselves. This technique helps them pass tests, but fail to retain practical information.
Second,the students are pressured and stressed out preparing for the exams making them spend most of their time in cram schools.This can lead to depression and loss of motivation.
Overall,Japanese education system should not put much weight on passing the university exam, it should rather focus on how much students have improved in their skills while studying. (123 words)
